Many of those in our patrol family, or their family members, are suffering through the hardships of cancer treatments or other life threatening illnesses. A complete prayer list of our friends in distress can be found on the Member's Page.
9/1 -UPDATE - Active Trooper Gunner Combs went through a 13 plus hour surgery on Saturday, August 30th to repair his severly injured leg. Read the comprehensive update by Allyson Dunham on the Member's page.
8/29 - Active Trooper Gunner Combs was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash on SR104 in Ross County. He is in the ICU at the Ohio State Univeristy Medical Center. News reports can be linked to at TroopertoTrooper.com.
8/22 - Rick Landis, husband of retired SHPFCU CEO Becky Landis is scheduled for open heart surgery on September 24th to repair a aorta aneurysm.
8/19 - Honorary OSHPRA Member Craig Reich, son of the late Lt. Colonel Earl Reich, is being treated for a cancerous brain tumor and other related medical issues.
8/10 - UPDATE - Who's that in the back row at the Lancaster Retirees Breakfast on August 9th? It's Retired Sgt. Dennis Lee, on the road to recovery after being hospitalized with a heart attack late last month! Great to see him up and around!
8/10 - UPDATE - It was great to see retired ET Paul Mayer at the Sunbird Reunion on August 8th, as he continues his chemotherapy treatment for lung cancer.
8/10 - UPDATE - It was great to see Tom Romaker at the Sunbird Reunion as he continues his treatments for bladder cancer.
7/4 - Sarah Cox, wife of active Lieutenant Evan Cox was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer earlier this year. Sarah is undergoing outpatient medical treatments.
