Our Prayer List
for our friends in distress (Updated 12/29)
Many of those in our patrol family, or their family members, are suffering through the hardships of cancer treatments or other life threatening illnesses. A complete prayer list of our friends in distress can be found on the Member's Page.
12/29 - UPDATE - Retired Major Rich Rucker was admitted for treatment, suffering from pancreatitus and gallbladder issues. He was well enough to return home on Christmas Eve, makig progress, 'slow but sure." You can wish him well on his Facebook page.
12/25 - UPDATE - Merry Christmas from Retired Captain Dave and Lori Gillespie! Dave continues to be challenged while dealing with the progress of his aphasia and early stage dementia, greatly limiting his ability to communicate and other cognitive abilities. Regardless, they put on a 'happy face" on Christmas Day. Thank you Lori for sharing this photo!
12/17/2025 - UPDATE ON MARY AREND FROM HUSBAND DAN - Mary’s MRI follow up today revealed some changes in the parietal area (top back of brain) that the doctors have been monitoring through the periodic MRI’s. They are concerned enough they may want to do a biopsy of that area in the very near future to determine if it is progression of the tumor or necrosis (dead cell). Dan and Mary also welcomed a new grandson to the family, Jovi Daniel Arend on December 6th.
Information to send cards of encouragement can be found on the Member's page. Prayers are always encouraged and appreciated. If there are others in our patrol family that are in some type of distress or difficulty please let us know so we can add them to our prayer list.
