QUICK Links
Welcome to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Retirees' Association's website. It is designed to serve as a communications link by providing information and services to Association members, current Ohio State Highway Patrol employees, other law enforcement personnel and the public at large.

The "Public", or open access area of the site, includes information about the Association, History of the Patrol, links to other sites related to the Retirees' Association and Upcoming Social Activities.

The "Members Only" area of the website is accessible by Association members through the use of a password. This area includes information on the illness of members, the death of a member or immediate family, meeting notes and other important announcements.

We are proud of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, our Association, and retirees of the Patrol. We consider them to be the best group of people anywhere to associate with!

Our Prayer List
for our friends in distress (Updated 10/29)

Many of those in our patrol family, or their family members, are suffering through the hardships of cancer treatments or other life threatening illnesses.  A complete prayer list of our friends in distress can be found on the Member's Page.

10/29 UPDATE - Mary Arend (from husband Dan) The MRI (10/24) showed the tumor has not progressed but the doctors are still concerned about one area that has changed a bit from previous images. They are not sure if it is necrosis or progression but since it is minimal change they feel it is radiation necrosis. They will continue to monitor her through periodic MRI’s.  Dan's complete update is on the Member's Page.

10/29 - UPDATE - Tim Dawson - Via FB, wife Suzie advised Tim spent a few days at Columbus East with a possible infection. He was released and returned home on October 27th.

10/22 UPDATE - Sarah Cox - As part of her ongoing treatment for Stage 4 Breast Cancer, Sarah underwent a double mastectomy on October 22nd.  Sarah is the wife of active Lt. Evan Cox.  She provides regular updates about her treatment on the 'Unexpected Journey' webpage.
Read Sarah's recent article published on Unexpected Journey; "We Can't Cure What We Don't Fund"

10/11 - On Friday, October 10th, retired Lieutenant Ralph and wife Judy Ehrhart were involved in a serious motor vehicle crash on State Route 4 in Crawford County when another vehicle failed to yield at an intersection. The driver of the FTY vehicle died in the crash. Ralph and Judy were transferred and admitted to Mansfield General with non-life- threatening injuries: Ralph a broken hip; Judy, broken ribs and a cracked sternum.

Information to send cards of encouragement can be found on the Member's page. Prayers are always encouraged and appreciated.  If there are others in our patrol family that are in some type of distress or difficulty please let us know so we can add them to our prayer list.
